McGovern Developments is a family-owned Queensland developer with more than 25 years of residential, retirement, tourism and hospitality work behind it.
Founded by Bernie McGovern Snr, the business grew from an entrepreneurial background in hospitality and retail into landmark property projects across Queensland.
Bernie McGovern Jnr and Will McGovern now lead the current flagship, Horizon Living Gympie, with Bernie Snr continuing to provide guidance and oversight.

Ocean Isles established the family's development reputation, while Buderim Gardens shaped a lasting belief that communities need more than strong buildings.
Bernie McGovern Jnr played a key role in the Chinchilla motor inn projects, and Will McGovern helped lead Rivershore Resort into an award-winning tourism destination.
Today, that experience comes together at Horizon Living Gympie, where lifestyle, amenity, operations and long-term value are considered as one project.
